Overview

Dr. Wesam is a mental health platform designed to make therapy feel accessible, simple, and genuinely supportive.

The project focuses on removing the common friction people face when seeking mental health care from confusing booking flows to disconnected communication and replacing it with a calm, trustworthy, and human-centered experience.

Project Timeline

The timeline was created to clearly map out each phase of the project from start to finish. Breaking the work into structured stages helped keep the process organized and ensured that design decisions were made with intention rather than rushed execution.



The early phase focused on understanding the problem, defining goals, and gathering insights through research. This step set the foundation for the rest of the project and helped avoid misalignment later in the process.

Colors & Typography

The first step in the design stage is selecting the color palette for the application. This is one of the most important and challenging aspects of the design process, as colors form the foundation of the visual identity and set the overall tone of the product.



Colors go beyond aesthetics; they influence how users feel and interact with the interface. The right color choices can guide attention, establish visual hierarchy, and make the experience feel intuitive and familiar.



Choosing correct and consistent colors is essential for maintaining clarity across the application. A well-structured color system improves readability, supports accessibility, and ensures that users can easily understand and navigate the interface.

Design Process

The design process focused on understanding user’s emotional and functional needs through research and analysis, then translating those insights into simple user flows and a clear information architecture that reduces friction.



Wireframes and visual designs were created with empathy in mind, emphasizing clarity, trust, and ease of use. Continuous testing and iteration ensured the experience felt intuitive, supportive, and human, resulting in a platform that makes accessing mental health care feel approachable rather than overwhelming.
